What are Direct Payments for Social Care?

Prime Home Care works with local authorities, self-funders and those receiving direct payments. Direct payments are council funded care which give individuals greater choice and control over the care they receive. If an individual is eligible for council funded support, they can choose to arrange their own care instead of the council arranging it, these are called direct payments. This allows the individual to choose which company they want to provide care and decide how they want to spend their budget.

We can provide a carer to you in under 24 hours!
